The beads of this rosary are natural designer-grade banded amethyst. When gathered up, they almost look like a cluster of ripe grapes. The Our Father beads are larger than the Hail Marys and placed between two antiqued silver-plated flower bead caps. I turned each link in this rosary by hand with silver-plated wire.
The crucifix and centerpiece of this rosary are very detailed and lovely to look at and hold. The crucifix reminds us that Jesus is the new Adam, who, instead of disobeying God and eating the fruit as Adam did, offers to the world in obedience to God his body as food. The centerpiece of Mary as a beautiful young mother allows us to focus on her role as the New Eve.
